Whitney Rose breaks silence on Jennie Nguyen’s offensive posting and posting statement

Whitney Rose The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City is breaking his silence after Jennie Nguyen’s offensive Facebook posts surfaced on social media. The entrepreneur shared a reaction on her social media following the backlash from her co-star.

What Did Whitney Rose Say About Jennie Nguyen’s Backlash?

Nguyen is in the eye of the storm as social media gets its hands on problematic Facebook posts from his past. In posts made in 2020, Nguyen shared conspiracy theories regarding the George Floyd case and had numerous anti-BLM posts. Jen Shah called Nguyen and called his apology “dishonest”. Now it’s Whitney Rose releasing a statement regarding the controversial issue.

“Recent events have reminded me of the importance of always leaving with LOVE, light and kindness. It is NEVER okay to blatantly make, comment, post and/or share any kind of racist statements/messages. and derogatory,” Rose said in her statement.

Rose continued: “Like everyone else, I have been shocked and saddened by the things that have surfaced online. There is so much deep-rooted discrimination and racism in our country and we all need to do better and work together. to bring about a change.

Finally, the Bravo star said: “I believe that everyone – regardless of ethnicity, beliefs, sexuality or gender identity – should be treated and granted with the same level of love, kindness and of respect.”

Jennie Nguyen apologizes

On the same day that Nguyen’s messages were discovered, the RHOSLC star issued an apology acknowledging the truthfulness of the messages.

“I want to acknowledge and apologize for my deleted Facebook posts from 2020 that resurfaced today,” she said on Instagram. “At the time, I thought I was speaking out against the violence, but I have since learned how offensive and hurtful my words were.

Nguyen said the Facebook page was deactivated “over a year ago” and has since continued “trying to learn about perspectives different from mine.”

“I regret these messages and I am sincerely sorry for the pain they have caused,” she concluded.

Nguyen’s future on the Bravo reality series is up in the air. RHOSLC Filming for season 3 is said to have started this week and if Nguyen is able to stay, it will most likely resolve the backlash she is facing. The cable network did not release a statement regarding Nguyen’s insensitive remarks.

Jen Shah challenges Jennie Nguyen

Although Meredith Marks touched on the subject of Nguyen only lightly afterwards, it was Jen Shah the first RHOSLC star who called her directly.

“I rarely believe what I see or hear online. I know firsthand what it’s like to be tried without evidence or an admission of guilt,” she posted on Instagram. “However, since my RHOSLC cast member admitted that she made these horrible comments and posts, i must now rise, on behalf of my husband and my sons who are African American, to say that I am deeply offended by the posts and comments racially insensitive.

Shah said the messages were “infuriating” and that he was “disappointed by the spurious apologies that have been issued”.
