TBI Releases Final Deadline for 2022 Content Innovation Awards Nominations
TBI has issued a final call to participate in the 2022 Content Innovation Awards, with producers, broadcasters and distributors having until September 2 to submit their entries.
The deadline has been extended following unprecedented demand from distributors and producers around the world, as the CIA stands ready to honor the best in television industry content and those who create it. Now in its eighth year, the awards mark a key moment in the industry calendar and give you an exclusive opportunity to showcase your latest projects to the world at a dazzling gala evening in London in November.
Last year, Sky won the coveted Best First Drama Series award for I hate SuzieAustralian advertising ABC won series launch of the year with Fisk, and the BBC Studios Natural History Unit won the Innovation and Ingenuity Award for BBC Winterwatch 2021.
New categories for 2022 will include the Representation & Inclusion Award, designed to highlight a company or individual who makes an outstanding contribution to improving on-screen and/or off-screen representation of LGBTQIA+ people, race, ethnicity and/or disability.
The Sustainability and Innovation Award, meanwhile, will recognize a company or organization that has gone above and beyond when it comes to improving the environmental impact of the television industry on the world, or who has delivered an outstanding next-gen solution to improve the way content is created.
Returning categories will include Best Drama Series Debut, Factual Entertainment Program of the Year, Factual TV Project of the Year, and Cast Innovation, with more details on how to enter available here.
