Shree Ramkrishna Netralaya is appointed under Ayushman Bharat

Navi Bombay (Maharashtra) [India], Aug 12 (ANI/PNN): Shree Ramkrishna Netralaya (SRN) was incorporated under the Ayushman Bharat program. All beneficiaries of Ayushman Bharat can avail the cashless facility at Shree Ramkrishna Netralaya, Thane, Mulund, Seawood and its new center, Vashi. The objective is to explore the Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana program and assess to what extent it could achieve the goal of universal health coverage. It is a centralized program jointly funded by the Union Government and the States. It is the largest government-sponsored health care program in the world, providing services to 50 crore (500 million) people.

Beneficiaries of Ayushman Bharat are families that do not have a salaried adult member between the ages of 16 and 59. Female-headed households have no adult males between the ages of 16 and 59. One-room households with makeshift walls and roofs can take advantage or benefit from this scheme.
