Rescued Kelowna dog undergoes surgery to remove remaining eye | iINFOnews

A poor female dog lost her sight after being delivered to a pet in Kelowna, and her keepers are hoping to raise enough money for the operation.
Zevia arrived at Paws it Forward Dog Rescue with one eye, and after a checkup with vets at Fairfield Animal Hospital in Kelowna, they determined that her other eye also needed to be removed due to glaucoma.
“As usual, they took the best care of her and she is now moving into her new foster home,” a Paws It Forward Instagram post read.
“We’re fundraising to help pay for Zevia’s surgery and follow-up, consider donating and share this post, every dollar counts!”
Anyone wishing to support the blind dog can complete a donation form on the Paws It Forward website.
Animal Rescue will continue to share updates on Zevia on their social media.
