Over 100 people benefit from free eye surgery from the Egbaland Humanitarian Devt Council
No less than 100 people suffering from eye deformities in Egbaland will benefit this year from free eye surgery sponsored by the Humanitarian Development Council of Egba.
Sovereign Alake and Paramount of Egbaland made this known by receiving the first batch of beneficiaries at his palace in Ake, Abeokuta.
In order to reduce the number of visually impaired people in society, Sovereign Alake and Paramount of Egbaland, through the Humanitarian Development Council of Egba, embarked on the screening, screening and sponsorship of the surgery people with eye problems.
The President of the Humanitarian Development Board while appreciating the Monarch informed those who have had surgery to one of their eyes and require the second ONE that the Monarch has granted their request to participate in the second batch.
The beneficiary representative said most of them could not see anything until they were screened and screened for free surgery.
He noted that they have regained their sight and are very grateful for the gesture.
